Precise Power Measurement for Inverter PWM
Compared to power measurement of sinusoidal waves, the current / voltage / power measurement of PWM signals generally vary and have been difficult in acquiring precise measurements.
To realize precise measurements of PWM signals, a measurement system that will satisfy the following conditions are necessary. Toyo Technica will be introducing a high-speed, high-resolution, long hour data recorder realizing precise measurement.

  • PWM signal harmonics component measurement: high-speed modules of 2MS/S, 100MS/s
  • High-accuracy amplitude measurement: 14 bit, 18 bit, 24 bit amplitude resolution
  • Measures transient phenomena in long-hours continuous data recording at maximum 200MB/sin internal 480GBSSD.

A broadband current sensor will also be displayed.

Abaqus supports the implicit method, the explicit method, fluid analysis, and electromagnetic field analysis, which can solve a wide array of issues. A&D's motor HILS equipment provides a real-time simulator that improves motor control system development efficiency for hybrid cars (HV/PHV) and electric cares (EV). High fidelity motor HILS with FPGA based model based development (JMAG supported)
In order to simulate the motors used in Hybrid vehicle on HILS, the precise motor and inverter models must be calculated very fast. dSPACE applies the model based development method to FPGA and provides electric component library for FPGA (XSG EC Lib) to speed-up HIL setup. This HILS demo simulates the closed-loop motor system in real time with the detailed motor model (spatial harmonic model) on FPGA imported from JMAG.

Controller that can greatly reduce torque ripple using a virtual motor supported by JMAG-RT
The controller has a built-in virtual motor supported by JMAG-RT that operates in real-time and is able to greatly reduce torque ripple. Sending torque command to the virtual motor inside the controller and controlled results to the actual motor as a current command allow significant reduction in torque ripple. It is also capable of current sensorless control.
