6th Seminar on Advanced Computational Electromagnetics
-Toward Putting High-Precision Loss Analysis Into Practice Follow-up-
On July 7, 2015, we held a seminar explaining the latest trends in simulation technology focusing on loss evaluation of motors. This seminar will be a follow-up to the "5th Seminar on Advanced Computational Electromagnetics Seminar: Toward Putting High-Precision Loss Analysis Into Practice" held in 2013.
This issue includes brief summaries of presentations provided by researchers and engineers that are active in various fields including topics on theories of new material modeling technology, simulation technology required in future motor development, advanced application case studies, use of materials and evaluation technology.
Introduction of JMAG-Designer Ver.14.1
JMAG-Designer Ver.14.1 (hereafter Ver.14.1) was released on June, 2015.
Operability of the Geometry Editor and post processing function has been improved. The new added functions will reduce step, straightforward operations will allow efficient analyses. Analyses incorporating specific phenomena such as iron loss accounting for the effects of residual strain, and global optimization calculations using the optimization engine of MATLAB can both be performed. This document will be introducing the new features of Ver.14.1
